Language & STEM
Qurio’s Autumn Camp is an interdisciplinary multi-activity camp, which combines STEM with Mandarin and English. There are two sessions in this Autumn Camp: STEM in Mandarin, and Robotics & Coding.
It is a hands-on, inquiry and project-based learning camp aimed at introducing international primary students to various scientific topics, exciting robotics and coding projects, and developing language and communication skills in both English and Mandarin.
Session 1 : STEM in Mandarin
This interdisciplinary course has been designed to promote students' interest in STEM and Mandarin. Students are encouraged to ask questions, develop a growth mindset, exercise critical thinking, explain their reasoning, create models, and practice through hands-on activities. Thus, students can advance their creativity, logical thinking and problem-solving skills gradually.
Our teachers are highly-experienced in both international school's inquiry-based learning methods and curriculum. Besides being better equipped to cater to learner diversity, their international exposure and insight also provide for a higher cross-cultural awareness, and global perspective for your children.
Session 2: Robotics & Coding
Led by our experienced teachers, Robotics and Coding session combines award-winning learning aids with an action-packed and certified curriculum designed to develop computational thinking and problem-solving skills for primary students.
From carrying out investigations to building and programming building block models, each hands-on, collaborative learning experience invites your child to explore, simulate, as well as learn science and engineering concepts and phenomena related to nature, modern inventions, or global issues.
