Qurio’s English Immersion Programme with Putonghua offers a full English immersion experience with exposure to Putonghua for K1-K3 students.
The programme includes learning English, Phonics, and Maths using English as the medium of instruction, coupled with a segment on learning Putonghua. Lessons are taught by native English and native Chinese-speaking teachers.
Our innovative learning approach combines an advanced local school curriculum with the best international school pedagogies giving students exposure to the best of both worlds. This programme is designed to foster academic excellence while instilling the social-emotional and life skills needed for children to succeed in a 21st-century society.

EIP’s special design of frequent exposure (3 times a week) and full immersion in English leads to accelerated results in language fluency for your child. Targeted at K1-K3 students, this programme captures your child’s golden age in language acquisition.
Not only will your child develop confidence in speaking, but you will also start to see positive behavioural changes in your child as we expose them to social-emotional learning and life skills.

For face-to-face classes: There are 3 lessons per week x 2 hours per lesson. Lessons are held every Tuesday, Thursday, and Friday.

We practice small group learning at Qurio. Each class range from 3 to 9 students maximum.
Yes, there are certificates of completion at the end of each term (6 months) for students who have attended at least 90% of classes that term.
We understand parents’ need to supply recommendation letters especially for school applications. We are happy to write your child a recommendation letter provided your child has spent a sufficient amount of time with us. This will enable us to assess their progress in order to write a persuasive recommendation.
Yes, our teachers send out weekly communications to parents. Besides that, we also conduct assessments every term (6 months) and provide Student Assessment Reports twice a year.
There are 3 levels for the English Immersion Programme (EIP). Each level runs for a full year. There are 2 terms in a year. Term 1 begins in July and Term 2 begins in January each year.
We accept rolling enrolments, so your child can begin at anytime.
The hourly rate for the English Immersion Programme works out to only HKD175 per hour.
For face-to-face classes: Fees are charged on a fixed monthly fee basis at HKD4,200
For online classes: Fee are charged on fixed monthly fee basis at HKD 2,800.
Yes, an individual assessment is needed before joining the English Immersion Programme (EIP). The assessment will help us determine your child’s Putonghua & Phonics abilities in order for us to place them in a suitable level based on their development. Assessments are free.
There is a full set of accompanying textbooks (Additional fee : $180) for the course covering English, Phonics, Chinese, and Mathematics.
Our teachers are highly-qualified and are well-trained teachers, some of them are native speakers. Most of them have experience in teaching at Kindergartens and Primary Schools, both local and international.
English will be the main medium of instruction for teaching English, Phonics, and Mathematics. Putonghua will be used in Chinese class segment.
There is no compulsory homework assigned to students. However, parents are welcome to complete the supplemental exercises in the course textbooks with your child.
